Dear Sisters in "http://domesticworkersunited.org" Domestic Workers United Congratulations upon your hard-sought victory in getting "http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/03/nyregion/03nanny.html">the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights passed in the New York Senate As you know, my work with you on this issue was much more than a usual Picture the Homeless assignment.  For now, due to your efforts and the solidarity of Picture the Homeless and others, the generations of females in my South Carolina origins who labored as domestics have had their exploitation vindicated, and FDR's "New Deal" has been superceded with an economic justice "New Deck" of cards.  I remain, Yours in the struggle, Jean Rice Board Member Picture the Homeless
